*I am no longer available for street tuning*

Well, as many of you know, I have been doing tuning on LSx cars for a little while now (early 2005). I have done several cars on this board. Since more and more people have been asking about tuning, I decided to sponsor this site and help you guys out on tuning. I would like to keep this thread as an info page for tuning as well as feedback from those who have had tuning by me. Any feedback is welcome. If you don't like how something was done, please post up and I will make it right. If you have any questions, you can PM me as well or post up on here.

I feel the best way possible to tune a car is on the street. Sure, you could spend an hour on the dyno but what percentage of the time are you WOT on a dyno? You want the fueling setup correctly for the driving you will do every day on the street. Of course, the WOT stuff will still be setup correctly on the street as well. A dyno is a good tuning tool to dial in tables for fueling and timing, but there are also ways to do this on the street. Sure, you may pick up 5 more horsepower playing on the dyno, but that doesn't mean it will be 5 more horsepower on the street. Things change from the dyno to the track due to the changes in load and airflow. After tuning the car on the street, if you want to go to the dyno, I have no problem with that. That is something that will need to be setup and you will have to pay for the dyno time. All but one of the cars I have tuned have been on the street and made the power they did without any changes on the dyno. The best example I have is a 2002 Z06 that went 11.9@118 mph on street tires (headers, vararam and tune only). On the dyno it showed to have knock, so I had to lower the timing to get it to go away. This did not happen on the street and as a result, the dyno tune ran slower at the track even in better conditions.

Not only this, but the load from various dynos change. Just going from dyno to dyno in this area, I have seem my fueling change by as much as 5% for the change in load. Not to mention, the fueling was never consistent with what was seen on the street.

If you don't like how your tune turned out, I will put the stock tune back in your car and let you go...free of charge. I won't stop tuning the car until everything is right anyway, so I donít see this happening. I also will not put your cars life on the line either. The fueling, timing and transmission settings will be setup safely (unless you want a good excuse for a new transmission haha). Since I don't put any parts of your car at risk during tuning, I won't cover damages to things. Don't worry though, nothing like this will happen because of my tuning, but I have to include this statement. You would be surprised how many people try to get tuning done on a car that is falling apart in the first place.

I use HP Tuners for all my tuning. They also offer real time tuning (RTT) without the need to swap computers out, which is a huge plus. For tuning in cars or trucks not listed below email me at SulskiPerformance@yahoo.com.

Nice to see you're a sponsor!! I HIGHLY recommend Mike. Great guy and he def. knows what he is doing. I recently had a cam install and tune from a supposedly GM Specialist in tuning. After 3 trips taking it to these guys...the tune still wasn't to my liking. So I talk to Mike online and he fills me in on some issues about how to fix it. I take it to him and we talk about whats going on with the car and how I want it to be. WOW did he get it dialed in. A+ work. Again if anybody asks me who can tune it....I wouldn't think twice on who I would recommend. Congrats!!!!

When I bought my car I was extremely happy with the way it ran other than some small complaints. So I took it to Mike and let him tune it, and I would have to say that there is no way possible for me to explain how much more happy I am with the car. All complaints are gone, other than needing to get that extra HP to the ground and not spinning, lol. All joking aside though, I would (and have) HIGHLY recommend Mike for your tuning needs. I enjoyed the fact the there was no generic tuning. He takes you out and street tunes the car with you, so that the tune is to your car, not just your engine type (LS1, LS2, etc.). I gained 45 hp, and more drivability from his tune alone.

Thanks Mike,

Mike is gay, I cannot lie, but he is a damn good tuner. Mike has been tuning my car since he first got into it. I would never think of having anyone else touch it. My cam only numbers should speak for themselve, and there are way bigger cams out there. To sum it up, Mike is the man, period.

If you have a LSX engine of ANY kind in ANY vehicle take it to Mike ASAP.

My Tahoe is next. He did an amazing job on the Camaro even though we have a bit left to do once a get a few small things sorted out!!

He WILL gain power over any of the other popular tuners in NC and make the car more drivable!

No I cant do LT1 cars Sad The software I have only allows me to do

98+ Fbodies
97+ Vettes
99+ Trucks and SUV's
97+ V6 cars

and a few others.

I can do SOME things at autofair, but as far as a full I would have to have the WB hooked up and do some driving. If you arent passed out by the end of autofair, we can do something afterwards lol. My house is literally 2 miles from the track. I will beable to do things like fans, gear changes, shift pressures, CAGS delete and things like that out there, that I would not need fueling numbers that required driving. I could also fix idle issues on cammed cars out there.
