OK Gang,
I really enjoyed the caravan where I met many of you on the road to G10. Each year I hope to get another together, so here I go once again. I'd like to arrive in Atlanta before the bulk of the traffic...
remember this?

Who is in for meeting at various places from the Triad south along the route to form-up into a nice line of f-body style along I-85?[/img]

Let me know when and where to meet. Since the club is spread out, maybe 2-3 groupings that merge as the whole club travels

That is how it worked for G10. It this works out, we can exchange cell numbers and coordinate. I might be able to get some walkie talkies for everyone so we can talk as a group if anyone else wants to.

I am trying to figure that, but I'd say closer to 8:00. It is about 7 hours driving, plus any stops for coordination/fuel, I'd like to arrive before 4PM to avoid as much traffic as possible.

We are going to be leaving around 1am Friday morning. My Camaro has been getting hot quicker than use to, I think that it would be a good idea to do it when the roads are cooler and not as much sitting. Guess be nice time to get to be by the pool!! Hey Adam, if you want us to pick something up on the way down let us know. I know you usually need more room for stuff.

Well it looks like I will not join the caravan after all. Crying or Very sad I have to be in Atlanta around 9:00AM on Friday for a personal commitment (no straight jacket involved), so I'll just head out Thursday afternoon. Anyone else heading south Thursday?

My number is 919-906-4688

I'm leaving work at noon, picking Chase up from school at around 12:15, home by 12:30 to load the car up, heading out around 1.

If anyone in GSO can wait for us, it would be much appreciated. I don't have too many miles on the 6-spd swap yet, so I'm still a bit nervous.

You know they are planning on rain all weekend and if it gets too bad i need to pull over seing as how my air pickups are like 4 inches from the ground. Just a thought for all of you that detailed your cars now.

Don't worry i have rain gear for the tents, just bring more beer...

I should be in Charlotte at about 3.

I'll be in Greensboro around 2, call me any time this morning if you want to meet up in Greensboro.

I hate to be on-site for a construction meeting at a plant this morning, but leave me a message. Cool

I think it would be nice to wait on bryan. He could meet me here at my house just off 85 in high point. Then we could meet up with john on our way toward charlotte, and then meet with Adam in charlotte for a nice four car caravan! If bryan can get out of the meeting a little early it would work perfectly. I'm flexible and can leave anytime. Can't wait! Definitely getting amped up for this trip!
