traction was a problem all day! several times i spun half the track even liftin on the throttle

but i pulled out a 8.1 my 3rd to last run

this was on street tires btw

new transmission is great..shifts firm like a m'fer

cant wait for 3.73s and slicks.

i see 7's comin

bigger stall eventually..jus not voidin my warranty right now.

What was the break down of the run?

I almost went but I didn't want to ride by myself. Post up next time you plan on going.

If they installed a shift kit in that tranny, then you need to have the settings in the computer set back to stock (for the tranny line pressure and what not).

Yeah I would make sure to check that, high line pressure and shift kit will destroy the transmission.

I can almost bet that there is some type of shift kit in there as they are not that expensive and most transmission shops install them in upgraded transmissions. As far as line pressure, unless you told him that it was tuned and the line pressure increased he might have not changed it.

I wouldn't rely on that, I would call them and ask.

There might be 10-15 street cars there on your average tnt thursday, its kinda lame. Farmington on the other hand averages 8-15 sn 95 mustangs and 50 tagged cars on a test n tune night. On every friday night they run a street car bracket race thats pretty fun. I wish it wasnt a 45 minute ride but high point is sorta on the way home....

Im game for sundays as well, i just cant make myself go out without having a buddy/aquantance with me.

If you made ran the 8.1 with the sun on the track im quite sure you can get into the 7's after dark... My best run to date was a 7.9@87 (on 245/55/16 worn out street tires) and that was a 60 degree night. It was runing 8.0-8.1 with the sun out. Ive already got a set of 26X11.5 hoosier quick times to go on but i havent found a 15 inch wheel cheap enough yet haha. Im thinking we may end up being each others main competition!

Id love to see the evo run, my buddy terry has a 90 gsx that might pair up well (his clutch is weak though). Telling him theres an evo at the track might be enough to get him to come, ive done a bunch of work on that car and would like to know what it runs.

i may check out that bracket race!..lol there will be two evos there hopefully.

one is stock minus stage 1 clutch, flywheel and BOV. other has cams, full exhuast and intake..no tune..yet

couple srt4's

my SS..prob a couple hondas

maybe a t/

idk how the rules are at farmington but at piedmont once you break 7.99 you are required to wear a helmet..im gonna order mine soon since im plannin on breakin that pretty quick

and if you had hit me up earlier..i had slicks and skinnies for sale..with bfg drag radials on em..lol but i sold earlier

as far as street cars...that day i posted my fastest run i was the fastest street car..but they say that a few pulley'd cobras run..im waitin on my cam and stall for them .lol
