Well I took the car to the tuner last Monday. He's a friend so I just left the car there and said just when you have time, let me know when she's ready. He had a few problems with my computer, might be caused because I moved the computer from the engine bay to behind the dash, but I'm not 100% sure.

So, he was finally able to get through the beginning of this week and able to street tune and then slap it on the dyno. It's got a pretty significant stumble around 4800 and then he said it died around 6500. This is a high end cam so it should be revving to around 7k. Unfortunately the jerking and missing was so substantial on the dyno he decided to play it safe and take it to about 6500.

Even with going to 6500 it made 408hp and 383tq. Although I was hoping for 10-15 more, I think if I fix the ignition problem and redyno in cooler weather (it was around 100* when he dynoed) I'll see the numbers I want.

I must say overall I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. The car pulls like a freight train and I'm loving every second. Not bad for a 355ci LT1!

Here's the graph:

Well just got back from the strip.

Got better as the night went on.

DA was around 3300.

1st run
2.070 - 60'
12.821 - 1/4
113.01 - mph

2nd run
2.066 - 60'
12.610 - 1/4
114.63 - mph

3rd run - I ran a DAYMN RACE CAR, like bracket racing, auto trans, slicks and skinnies, he had a 1.6 - 60'.....I thought I was going to get RAPED...

1.962 - 60' (him 1.639)
12.458 - 1/4 (him 12.324)
114.28 - mph (him 106.Cool

VIDEO!

Couple things...1, NO it was not my first time on the drag strip, does it really appear to be? haha. And 2, I for SURE thought I was going to get raped...but if my car hadn't been breaking up I SOOO would've caught that bastard!
